Staying in control while you play at F1 Casino
We treat gambling as entertainment. It is not a source of income, an investment or a way to recover losses. This policy sets out how we help members to stay in control, and what happens when a member asks us to close access.
Where we stand
Our platform uses systems that observe member behaviour to spot early signs of problem gambling, and we reserve the right to restrict an account when that is needed. Continuous transaction monitoring can lead to a review or restriction of an account and to requests for more documents under KYC. These steps protect the member and the platform; they do not replace the member’s own decision to set limits. Responsibility for the decision to play stays with the member, but the tools and the support route are ours to provide.
Warning signs
Problem gambling is a state in which a person cannot control gambling, plays continuously to win back losses and suffers social, financial or psychological harm. We regard the following behaviour as risky:
- wanting to play more after continuous losses;
- neglecting the responsibilities of daily life;
- playing with borrowed money;
- hiding the time spent playing, or losing control of it;
- betting continuously under emotional stress.
If two or more of these apply, use the controls described in this policy, or contact live support, open around the clock, or write to [email protected] before the next deposit.
Self-exclusion
Self-exclusion is a voluntary closing of access, for a set period or indefinitely. It is a serious protective step that is hard to reverse.
| Period | Notes |
|---|---|
| 24 hours | Short break |
| 7 days | |
| 30 days | |
| 6 months | |
| 1 year | |
| Indefinite | Account closed permanently; reopening only after a special review |
During exclusion you cannot log in, deposit, withdraw or take bonuses, promotions and campaigns, and marketing communication stops.
What happens after a request
The account is suspended immediately, a review starts and new registration attempts are blocked. Where someone breaks the exclusion, extra security measures are applied. We cannot accept responsibility for risks that arise from a member’s attempts to reopen an account, although reasonable technical measures are applied at platform level.
Matching the behaviour to the tool
Our tools are deposit limits, loss limits, session time limits, reality check notifications and temporary breaks. Choose them when you are calm and not after a losing run, and treat a higher limit as a deliberate decision.
| What you notice | Tool that fits | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Deposits repeated within one session | Deposit limit | Blocks payments above the cap you set |
| Chasing a loss after a bad run | Loss limit, then a temporary break | Stops further staking after the cap |
| Sessions running much longer than planned | Session time limit, reality check | Warns and restricts play |
| Play that has become the main activity of the day | Self-exclusion for 30 days or longer | Account closed to access for the chosen period |
| Repeated returns after earlier breaks | Indefinite exclusion | Permanent closure; reopening only after special review |
How exclusion affects bonuses and balance
While an exclusion is active, bonuses, promotions, campaigns and VIP offers cannot be used, and the cashback refunds and rakeback that depend on active play are not available. Deposits and withdrawals are stopped while access is closed, so ask support what happens to any remaining balance when you request the exclusion. A new registration attempt during the exclusion is blocked as well, and because we accept funding only from cards and crypto wallets in your own name, a deposit sent from another person’s card or wallet cannot be used to get round the break.
For family and friends
Gamblers Anonymous and Gambling Therapy provide groups and forums that include people close to a gambler. A relative can encourage the member to use the tools above and to contact our support team, and the exclusion itself is requested by the account holder.
Reviewing your own record
Betting history, deposits and withdrawals are kept in the account activity, so you can review how much you have paid in and taken out over a day, a week or a month. The same period logic is used by our cashback calculation, which is a reminder that a net loss is simply deposits minus withdrawals.
Our exclusion and GamStop compared
| Route | What it blocks | Who sets it up |
|---|---|---|
| F1 Casino self-exclusion | Login, deposits, withdrawals, bonuses and marketing on your F1 Casino account, for 24 hours up to indefinitely | You, through live support or the responsible gaming tools |
| GamStop | Access to accounts on gambling websites and apps, free of charge | You, on the GamStop service |
| Temporary break | Play on your account for a short period, without closing it | You, in the account |
Using GamStop does not replace asking us to close your account, so do both if you want the break to cover this site as well.
